Pregnant Woman Shaken After Hijacking
A pregnant woman and her mother-in-law have been left badly shaken following an attempted car hijacking outside Belfast’s Mater Hospital.
The two women were threatened at gun point by a man who walked up to them as they were getting into their car on the Crumlin Road on Friday at 20:00.
The man forced the women out of the car, but nearby police officers arrived on the scene and the man ran away.
Cocaine Seized In County Down
A "significant quantity" of suspected cocaine has been seized by the PSNI on the A1 dual carriageway in County Down.
The suspected drugs were seized by detectives from the Organised Crime Branch when a vehicle was stopped near Banbridge on Friday night.
A 32-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested.
They have been detained on suspicion of possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.
Man Admits Robbing Church Charity Boxes
A 20-year-old man has been remanded in custody at Londonderry Magistrates Court, after admitting breaking into a church and stealing money from charity boxes.
Bernard Cooke of Lettershandoney Avenue was charged with breaking into St Brigids church on Racecourse Road and robbing the charity boxes on 29 November 2012.
He was identified from CCTV footage.
Mr Cooke initially denied having committed the offence, but when confronted with the CCTV footage he admitted the charges.
He told police he stole between £200 and £300.
Car Hijacked In North Belfast
Four people have been the victim of a car-hijacking in north Belfast.
The incident occurred on Friday night when two men and two women in their 20s and 30s were in a Grey Toyota Prius in Cliftondene Park on Friday night.
Two men approached the vehicle and forced the group to get out of the car. The men drove the car away and it was later found burnt out in Alliance Drive.
No-one was injured in the incident.

Pair charged over drug seizure
Two men have been charged with drugs offences after drugs worth an estimated £300,000 were seized by police. The drugs were found in a car stopped on the M2 on Saturday. One man, aged 56, and another, aged 24, have been charged with posession of a class A drug and posession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

Four men arrested in connection with an explosive device in west Belfast last year have been released from custody. The device was found in the Pantridge Road area on 30 October. Three men arrested under the Terrorism Act have been released unconditionally.

RUC Murderer Sentenced To 20 Years
A man who was convicted of the murder of a 25-year-old RUC constable in 1981 has been sentenced to at least 20 years in prison. However, he will only serve two years under the Good Friday Agreement. John Proctor was murdered by the IRA in the car park of the Mid-Ulster Hospital on 14 September 1981, having just visited his wife and unborn child.
