A security alert in south Belfast has been declared a "hoax".
Army bomb experts and police attended the scene at Windsor Drive on Friday morning.
A controlled explosion was carried out on a suspicious device but was declared a hoax.
All roads in the area have reopened.

South Belfast Security Alert Declared Elaborate Hoax
A security alert in South Belfast has ended after two suspicious devices left outside a residential address were declared an elaborate hoax. Inspector Bell confirmed that police received a report just before 9am on Thursday, 2 October 2025, that two suspicious devices had been left outside a house in Castleward Park.

Security Alert In South Belfast Declared A Hoax
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes in south Belfast following a security alert in south Belfast. A suspicious object was thrown at a property in the Blythe Street area at around 11.30pm. Police and army technical officers attended the scene which was described as a hoax. The residents have now returned to their homes.
