Man Dies After Being Hit By Van In Larne
A man has died after being hit by a van in Larne.
The man was withdrawing money from a cash machine on Main Street when the collision happened just before 8.25am on Wednesday, 22 February.
A blue coloured Vauxhall Vivaro van which was parked on the street is believed to have rolled back and struck him.
The 63-year-old man was taken to hospital to be treated, however he died on Thursday morning, 23 February.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The 63-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for a suspected fracture to his leg. Unfortunately he passed away in hospital this morning.
"Police are appealing for anyone who was on Main Street in Larne yesterday morning and who witnessed the van or the collision to contact local officers in Larne or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference number 189 of 22/02/17."

Shortly before midnight, police received a report that a man was found injured in the area of John Street roundabout. A short time later, police arrested two men, both aged 27 years old, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
