Security Alert In L'Derry
Police cordons have been put in place in the Sevenoaks area of L'Derry following an incident in the area.
Two loud bangs were heard in the area on Tuesday morning, 24 July, and people are being urged to avoid the area.
SDLP Councillor Martin Reilly said: "This is unwanted and unnecessary disruption to those who are travelling to work and going about their day.
"I would urge anyone who has any relevant information to get in touch with the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
No other information has been released.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Four Die In Fatal Collision In Armagh In Early Hours Of 24 March
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Armagh in the early hours of Sunday, 24 March. A driver and three passengers died when the grey Volkswagen Golf they were travelling in crashed on the Ballynahonemore Road at around 2.10am.

AN ABANDONED BABY found near a Gaelic Athletic Association football pitch in Ballymena has been reunited with her mother. The newborn baby was discovered outside All Saints GAC on the Woodside Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday night.

A number of shots were fired at a house and a car in Bush Manor, a private development near Antrim town's Steeple estate at the weekend. Councillors have condemned the attack which left two people in the property at the time of the attack on Saturday unhurt.
