23-Year-Old Man Charged With Murder Of Kathryn Parton

The PSNI has reported that a 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 34 year old Kathryn Parton, who was found dead at her home in Madrid Street in east Belfast on Wednesday, 15 May.

A 43 year old woman and a 22 year old man have also been charged with the offences of assisting an offender and of aiding and abetting a breach of bail. The woman has also been charged with the offence of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

All three are due appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today, Monday, 20 May.

In line with usual procedure, charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

Man And Woman Charged With Death Of 2-Year-Old Girl
Two people have been charged following the death of a two-year-old girl in Dungannon, County Tyrone. The child died in hospital on Friday 06 August following an incident at an address in Park Avenue in Dungannon. A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.
