Traffic And Travel Advice Ahead Of Limavady Parades
Road users in Limavady should prepare for significant delays on Friday, 1 August, as two parades are scheduled to take place, leading to road closures in and around the town.
Roads will be closed between 7pm and 10pm to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators. The main parade is set to commence at 8.30pm from Mill Place, proceeding along Ballyclose Street, Alexander Road, Main Street, Connell Street, Irish Green Street, Catherine Street, Linenhall Street, and returning to Main Street before finishing on Mill Place at approximately 11pm.
A smaller parade will begin earlier at 7.30pm from Ballyquin Road, travelling onto Irish Green Street, Catherine Street, Linenhall Street, Main Street, and concluding at Mill Place by 8pm. Police officers will be deployed in the affected areas to manage traffic flow and assist with diversions. Motorists not planning to attend the events are advised to seek alternative routes if possible to avoid potential delays.

Work Starts On Road Improvement Projects In Co Armagh
Contractors have started work on £170,000 road improvement projects in Tandragee, Co Armagh. The schemes are taking place at Irish Street Richhill and Gilford Street. They involve the resurfacing of 1km of roads and where appropriate the reinstatement of footways and verges. To facilitate the schemes, temporary road closures will be in place.

Road Works To Get Started In Belfast
The Department for Regional Development will start work on a number of junction improvements in Belfast city centre next week. The improvements on Grosvenor Road/Durham Street and Hope Street/Great Victoria Street are part of the Belfast On The Move Transport Masterplan which will give higher priority to public transport, pedestrians and cyclists.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.
