Man Arrested After Replica Firearm Found In Lisburn
A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested on suspicion of carrying a replica firearm in a public place in the Lisburn area.
The investigation began after officers received a report on Sunday, 19 October 2025, that a man was seen brandishing a weapon at the rear of a property. There were no reports of any shots being fired.
A planned search of a property was carried out yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, 21 October 2025, where an imitation firearm was located and recovered by police. The man remains in police custody assisting with ongoing enquiries.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who has information that could assist their investigation to contact CID in Lisburn by calling 101, quoting reference number 1146 of 21/10/25.

Inspector McCullough said: "Officers carried out planned searches at two properties in the Kashmir Road area of the city – where a suspected firearm and other items were seized from one of the addresses.

Man Dies Following Altercation Outside Lurgan Bar
Police have confirmed that Robert Paczkowski, a 51-year-old man, has died in hospital from injuries he is understood to have sustained during an altercation in Lurgan at the weekend. Police were called to the William Street area shortly before 1am on Sunday, 19 October 2025, following reports of the incident.
