Man Arrested In Belfast Over Dublin Murder
A man has been arrested in Belfast in connection with a murder in Dublin in on 26th November 2024.
A 63-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Finglas area.
The 22-year-old is wanted in the Republic of Ireland to stand trial for murder.
The suspect was detained on an Irish extradition warrant and is due to appear before Laganside Extradition Court later today, 5 November.
Sergeant Davey from the International Policing Unit said: "Today's arrest is an important step in progressing this murder case.
"Police Service of Northern Ireland continues to work closely with An Garda Siochana to locate, arrest and extradite those who attempt to run from the consequences of their actions. The Irish border cannot be used to hide from police and the courts."

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.
