Police appeal following assault in Londonderry
Police in Londonderry are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in the Waterside area of the city on Wednesday.
Shortly before 12.40am the victim, believed to be in his late 20s, was on the Dungiven Road when he was approached by five men who proceeded to punch and kick him before running off.
The man was immediately taken to hospital where he was treated for facial injuries and a broken jaw.
The first attacker is described as being in his mid 20s, 5’ 11" in height with short dark hair, and ink on his hands. The second was aged in his early 20s and of similar height but stocky build with short fair hair. Both were wearing green football shirts.
A third man aged around 20-years-old, 5’ 10" in height, of stocky build and wearing a brown jacket was also involved in the attack. No descriptions are available for the other two men involved.

Police are appealing for information after a man armed with a crossbow robbed a café in north Belfast. The incident occurred in the Shore Road area at about 5.50pm on Monday. He is described as being in his early 20s, approximately 5'8" tall and was wearing a white jacket and black bottoms.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

More Arrests Over Quinn Killing
Three more men have been arrested in connection with the murder of south Armagh man Paul Quinn. The men from the Forkhill and Crossmaglen areas were arrested on Thursday morning. A number of items have also been removed for examination in what police said this afternoon is the second phase of a "targeted operation" in south Armagh.

Teenager Arrested After Murder In County Down
Police are treating the death of a man following an assault in County Down over the weekend as murder. The 32-year-old was attacked in Portaferry, shortly after midnight on Sunday. It is believed the victim was from Killyleagh. A 19-year-old has been arrested and taken to Musgrave police station in Belfast for questioning on suspicion of murder.
