Child Dies Following Serious Road Accident In Avonmouth

A three-year-old girl has died following a serious road traffic accident in Avonmouth.

Police have appealed for witnesses to a collision between a Toyota Yaris and a Mercedes minibus on Kings Weston lane at about 09:15 on Tuesday morning.

A woman and two children in the Yaris were seriously injured in the collision, with one of the children dying of her injuries overnight.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Matab Uddin, 59, of Blackshots Lane, Essex was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and fraud. The court heard how police were called on Sunday, 17 November 2013 at about 1:45am to reports of a man injured on Essex Road.

North Yorkshire Police have appealed for witnesses to a "serious collision" near Pickering on Friday 01 May. It is understood that three cars – a black Peugeot 106, a black Mercedez and a black Honda Civic – were involved in a collision at about 22:00 on the A169 Pickering to Whitby road.

Police Appeal After Pensioner Suffers Serious Injuries In Bolton Collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was seriously injured in a collision in Bolton on Tuesday night. A silver Toyota Avensis car collided with the woman, 78, on Thicketford Road.
