Body Found In Suitcase In London Canal
An investigation has been launched after a body was found in a suitcase in London.
At around 2.30pm on Sunday, police were called to the Grand Union Canal, near Delamere Terrace, Little Venice. A suitcase was recovered from the canal and a body was found to have been inside the suitcase.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out later.
Officers have said the death is being treated as "suspicious".
No arrests have been made in connection with the discovery.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Met Police said: "The death is being treated as suspicious and detectives from homicide and major crime command are investigating. We are working to discover the identity of the deceased."

Man arrested over canal torso find
A man has been arrested following the discovery of a woman's torso in a suitcase which was floating in London's Regent's Canal. Police were called to the Regents Canal in Islington on Saturday after a group of teenagers spotted a suitcase floating in the water. They managed to pull the case from the water and discovered a human torso inside.

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a suitcase in north-west London. Police have said that the body was discovered when officers searched a sports ground in Thornfield Avenue, Mill Hill, at around 5pm on Sunday evening. The death is being treated as murder.
