Man Wanted Over Attempted Rape In Southwark
Police have appealed for help identifying a man they want to speak to in connection with an attempted rape in Southwark.
Police have reported that a 28-year-old woman was attacked at an address in Newington Causeway at about 03:00 on Monday, 20 April.
The woman was at the house with a male friend and the man police wish to speak to.
The man is alleged to have attacked the woman, attempting to rape her, but was fought off by the woman and her friend.
The man is described as a white, aged about 30 - 40 years and he had a shaved head.
Anyone who can identify the man or has information that may assist the inquiry should call detectives from the Sexual Abuse, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command on 020 8721 4640 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org.

Greater Manchester Police have launched a fresh appeal for information over the rape of a young woman in Beswick earlier this year. The incident happened at Ashton Old Road between 3:15am and 8:30am on April 11. The 23-year-old victim had been with friends at Piccadilly Train Station hour earlier and was intoxicated.

Merseyside Police have appealed for help in tracing a man wanted in connection with a number of assaults on the same woman in St Helens. Police said the first incident occurred at about 23:00 on Sunday, 06 September when a woman was approached by a man on Nutgrove Hall Drive, Thatto Heath.
