Father And Son Killed In Hertfordshire Shooting

A father and son were two of the victims of Tuesday's shooting incident in Hertfordshire.

Police were called to a house in Plaw Hatch Close in Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday night and found the victims. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The men have been named as Keith Cowell, 52, his 17-year-old son Matthew and Tony Dulieu, 33, from Billericay.

Two women, aged 54 and 23, were also seriously injured in the shooting, while a three-year-old girl was found unharmed in the house. The child is now being cared for by child protection officers.

Police have launched a murder inquiry and said that they are searching for two Asian men in connection with the attack. The pair, believed to be in their late teens or early twenties and of slim to medium build, are reported to have been seen leaving the scene in a small red car.

Chief Superintendent Al Thomas from Hertfordshire Police said: "Early information suggests this was a targeted incident and not a random attack."
