Man Charged with Terrorism Offences Following L'Derry Parade
A 55-year-old man who was arrested under the Terrorism Act following Monday's Easter parade in L'Derry has been charged with several offences related to the event.
The man is scheduled to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Thursday, 24th April. In line with standard procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Meanwhile, a second man, aged 30, who was also arrested under the Terrorism Act in connection with the same parade, has been released following questioning.
The police investigation into the events surrounding the parade remains ongoing.
The charges include managing a meeting in support of a proscribed organisation, aiding and abetting the wearing of clothing or articles as a member or supporter of a proscribed organisation, and aiding and abetting failure to comply with a condition imposed by the Parades Commission.The man is scheduled to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Thursday, 24th April. Man Injured In Paramilitary-Style Attack
A man has been injured in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast. The assault happened in the Norglen Parade area just after 9pm on sunday, 17 September. The victim, aged is his 30s, was shot in the hands and legs and is currently being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.

Man arrested over Electoral Office fraud
A 58-year-old man from Co Tyrone has been arrested and charged following a police investigation into irregularities at an Electoral Office in the west of the province. The man was charged with 30 offences, 17 of which relate to theft and 13 of fake accounting. He will appear before a court in Omagh on November 11.

Accused man claimed he 'did not mean to kill wife'
A civilian PSNI employee has appeared before Ballymena Magistrates Court in Co Antrim today accused of murdering his wife. The court heard that when charged yesterday 46-year-old Adrian Baird of Loughloughlan Road in Broughshane said that he "did not mean to kill his wife".
